Retro Shaving Set

An old fashioned beeswax and honey shaving soap in a retro cup with a professional Italian boar brush.

The handcrafted shaving soap features beeswax and honey from our backyard bees on the edge of the South Mountain Reservation in South Orange, New Jersey. Beeswax makes the soap longer lasting, emollient and moisturizing. Our own unprocessed raw honey adds humectant and antibacterial properties. Volcanic clay from Wyoming helps the razor glide for a smooth shave, and it absorbs toxins an impurities while gently cleansing the skin. Raw and unrefined shea butter is famous for its moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. Cocoa Butter an emollient oil, a natural source of vitamin E, and a natural antioxidant, clears and smoothes the skin. The right balance of organic coconut oil, castor oil and canola oil make a bubbly, creamy, and stable lather.  

We do not use chemicals beyond those needed in the saponification process. Parabens free.

We do not use palm oil or any other palm oil derived ingredients.

The soap comes in 2 varieties, Unscented and Sweet Orange. Beyond the subtle scent of honey and beeswax, the Unscented soap has no other added fragrances. The Orange scent has an intense sweet citrus fragrance, it comes from pure orange essential oil, known for its antidepressant, antiseptic, and aphrodisiac properties.
